"Gotta End Somewhere: How to Flesh Out & Finish Your Great Song Idea" Song Writing Workshop with Tia McGraff & Tommy Parham

How do you know when a song is complete? Join international and award-winning singer-song writers Tia McGraff and Tommy Parham and learn when and how to finish that song! During this one-day workshop, Tia and Tommy will cover topics like “3 minute movie” song structure, lyrical and melodic arrangement, and how to craft the perfect ending. At the end of the day, participants will have the opportunity to “workshop” their song with Tia, Tommy and members of the group.

Basic writing materials will be provided. Participants may bring instruments (E.g. guitar, ukulele) and/or a writing tablet or recording device (E.g. cell phone) according to their preference. A piano is available onsite.

Tia McGraff is an internationally renowned and award winning Americana/Country songstress from Port Dover. She has 6 international cd releases, numerous videos on CMT Canada, various film/tv placements, and several nominations and awards. Her latest release “Crazy Beautiful” was longlisted for the Grammy Americana Album of the Year.

Colorado native, Tommy Parham moved to Nashville, TN in 1998, as a staff songwriter. His catalog credits include cuts with major label artists, including Lee Greenwood’s “Rocks You Can’t Move”.
